KVKK Disclosure Notice

As ASON Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“the Company”, “the Data Controller”), we process your personal data within the scope described below in our capacity as data controller, under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”). This notice has been prepared in order to fulfil our obligation to inform pursuant to Article 10 of the KVKK.

2. Personal Data Processed

Identity, contact, customer transaction, order and payment, membership/account, shopping preferences, customer service correspondence, together with transaction security and digital trace data (IP address, device and browser information, pages and URLs visited, time spent on page, scrolling/interaction behaviour, cookie identifiers, location/approximate location) may be processed.

3. Purposes of Processing

Your data is processed for the purposes of conducting membership and contractual processes, order/sale and delivery, payment and invoicing, customer relations and support, request/complaint management, developing products and services, providing personalisation and recommendations, ensuring the security of the site and services, preventing fraud, statistics and analysis, business development, fulfilling legal obligations and — where your explicit consent exists — marketing, promotion and profiling.

4. Legal Grounds

Processing is based on the legal grounds of the establishment/performance of a contract, legal obligation, the establishment/exercise of a right and the legitimate interest of the data controller under Article 5/2 of the KVKK; and, where these do not apply, on your explicit consent pursuant to Article 5/1 of the KVKK.

5. Method of Collection

Data is collected by automated and partially automated means through the website, membership and order forms, cookies and similar tracking technologies, call/e-mail/messaging channels and automated systems.

6. Transfer and Transfer Abroad

Your data may be transferred, limited to the relevant purpose, to the suppliers from which we receive services, hosting and cloud providers, payment and cargo organisations, business partners and authorised public institutions. Since part of our service infrastructure is located abroad, your personal data may be stored/processed abroad. Transfer abroad is carried out under Article 9 of the KVKK and in accordance with the principles set out in the Explicit Consent Notice for International Data Transfer.

7. Retention Period

Data is retained for the periods required by the purpose of processing and stipulated in the relevant legislation; at the end of the period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your Rights (Article 11 of the KVKK)

You have the rights to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information, to learn whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, to request rectification/erasure, to learn the third parties to whom it has been transferred, to object to a result that arises against you as a consequence of automated analysis, and to demand compensation for damage.
