Website

Odoo's website applications run the corporate site, the online store, the blog, the forum, the learning portal and live chat on the same database. Every record created on the site goes straight into the Sales, Inventory and Accounting modules; no separate transfer is needed.

The four steps we follow from setup to launch

  1. 01

    Scope and content

We determine which modules will be enabled, the page structure and the language requirement. If you have an existing site, we draw up the list of content and URLs to be migrated.

  2. 02

    Setup and design

We build the pages with the theme and the building blocks. We configure the product, category, payment and shipping settings according to your processes.

  3. 03

    Data migration and testing

We transfer the product, customer and order data. We test the payment, shipping, tax and email flows with real scenarios.

  4. 04

    Launch and training

We put the domain name, SSL and redirects live. We train your team on page editing, order management and reporting.

Why ASON

  • A single database

The website, the store and the back office use the same data. When an order comes in, stock is reduced, and the delivery order and the invoice proceed from the same record; you do not have to move data between systems.

  • Odoo Learning Partner

ASON Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi is an Odoo Learning Partner. Alongside the implementation, data migration and customization, we give your team hands-on training; once you take the system over, you can run it yourselves.

  • Türkiye compliance

The Türkiye localization comes ready: the chart of accounts, the taxes and the e-Fatura, e-Arşiv and e-İrsaliye flow. On the payment side, Iyzico ships as a ready-made provider with Odoo 19.

  • Open source infrastructure

The Odoo Community edition is open source. You can access the source code, add your own business rules by developing modules, and limit your dependency on a single vendor.

Frequently asked questions

Can we migrate our existing site to Odoo?

Yes. Content, product and customer data are transferred to Odoo. The design is not copied one to one; the pages are rebuilt with Odoo's building blocks. Before the migration we decide together which pages stay and which ones are merged.

What happens to our old addresses in a migration?

The critical point is the addresses: if no redirects are defined for the old URLs, your search ranking drops. So before the migration we draw up the list of current URLs and prepare a table mapping the old addresses to the new ones. The redirects go live in the launch step, together with the domain name and SSL.

Are these modules available in the Odoo Community edition?

The Website, eCommerce, Blog, Forum, eLearning and Live Chat modules are available in the Community edition as well. Community is open source; you can reach the source code and add your own business rules by developing modules. At the start of the project we verify the module list together against Odoo's current edition comparison.

In which cases is Odoo Enterprise required?

The Enterprise edition includes additional applications and Odoo's own support. Some links, such as opening a ticket from Live Chat, require Helpdesk; Helpdesk is part of Enterprise. We draw up your list of requirements and tell you which edition is enough.

Which server does the site run on?

There are three options: Odoo Online (the service Odoo hosts), Odoo.sh (the developer platform Odoo manages) and your own server. Odoo Online databases are given a free domain name for one year. We make the choice according to who will carry the maintenance responsibility.

Which hosting should we choose if we need custom development?

If custom modules are to be developed, Odoo Online is not suitable; Odoo.sh or your own server is needed. A custom theme is also developed as a module, so the same rule applies to it. In the first meeting we draw up the need for custom development and make the hosting decision accordingly.

Can a multilingual site be set up?

Yes. Languages are added from the settings, and a language selector appears in the header and the footer. In the editor's Translate mode, untranslated text is marked yellow and translated text green; you can run a bulk automatic translation or correct entries one by one. Odoo adds the hreflang and x-default tags to multilingual pages itself. The URL structure stays the same across languages; product and category names are translated.

Do we have to move data between the website and the back office?

No. The website, the store and the back office use the same database. When an order comes in, stock is reduced, and the delivery order and the invoice proceed from the same record. Records from the site forms also go straight into the related application; you do not set up a separate transfer layer.

Do you train our team?

Yes. ASON Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi is an Odoo Learning Partner. Alongside the setup, the data migration and the customization, we give your team hands-on training on page editing, order management and reporting. The aim is that you run the daily work yourselves once you take the system over.

How long does it take to go live?

The duration changes with the scope. A corporate brochure site and an eCommerce setup with variants, shipping and payment integration do not take the same amount of work. In the first meeting we draw up the module list, the scope of the data migration and the need for custom development. We base the schedule on that scope, not on an estimate.

How are Türkiye-specific payment and shipping integrations set up for eCommerce?

The invoice for a store order goes out from Odoo as an e-Fatura or an e-Arşiv. On the payment side Iyzico ships ready with Odoo 19; if another virtual POS or a carrier in Türkiye is needed, it is connected with a third-party module. Which provider is used, and that module's maintenance continuity, we evaluate together at the start of the project.
