hr_recruitmentRecruitment
Runs job postings, applications, interviews and offers on one track

Publishes job positions, collects applications and tracks applicants stage by stage.
What it does
Each job position gets its own email address; resumes sent to that address turn into applicant cards automatically. Cards move through six default stages on the Kanban board. At the offer stage the applicant is sent an email with a link to an offer they can sign, and the offer is given an expiration date. Once signing is complete, an employee record is created from the applicant card.
Stage board
The six default stages are New, Initial Qualification, First Interview, Second Interview, Contract Proposal and Contract Signed. Every applicant card carries a status indicator: green for ready for the next stage, red for blocked, grey for in progress. Stages can be shared across all job positions or defined for a single one.
Job position setup
For each job position you set the recruiter, the interviewers, the interview form, the department and the email address. In the Target field you enter how many people will be hired. When the publish toggle is on, the position appears on your website; the employment type, salary range and work location are kept on the position as well.
Offer and signature
The Generate Offer button sends the applicant an email containing a link to the proposed salary. The applicant enters their own details and signs; once the HR officer signs as well, the card moves to the Contract Signed stage. After the offer's expiration date has passed, the contract can no longer be signed.
Recruitment reports
Applicant analysis, source analysis, time-in-stage analysis and team performance reports come ready. Source analysis shows which channel applications came from. Time-in-stage analysis shows how long applicants waited between stages, so you can see where the process is stuck.

Frequently asked questions
Does our careers page have to be on Odoo?
No. You can publish the position with Odoo's Website module, but it is not required. Since each position has its own email address, putting that address on your existing careers page is enough; applications sent there still turn into applicant cards automatically. That way you can move the recruitment process into Odoo without moving your site.
Can we change the interview stages to fit our own process?
Yes. Six default stages come with the module: New, Initial Qualification, First Interview, Second Interview, Contract Proposal and Contract Signed. Stages can be shared across all job positions or defined for a single position. The status indicator on each applicant card shows green for ready for the next stage, red for blocked and grey for in progress.
Are the emails sent to applicants automatic?
Some of them are. Preconfigured templates come with the module: applicant acknowledgement, interest, interview invitation and refusal. The acknowledgement template is sent automatically in the New stage and the interview invitation in the Initial Qualification stage. You trigger the refusal template yourself when you reject an applicant, and the offer email goes out with the Generate Offer button.
Is an employee record created automatically when an applicant is hired?
It is created with one button. When the offer has been signed by both sides the card moves to the Contract Signed stage and a Create Employee button appears. That button moves the applicant and contract data onto the employee record, so you do not enter the details a second time. If the offer's expiration date has passed, the contract cannot be signed.
Can we see where the recruitment process is stuck?
Yes, with the ready reports. Source analysis shows which channel applications came from; time-in-stage analysis shows how long applicants waited between stages. Applicant analysis and team performance reports come with the installation as well. You spot the stage with the long wait in these reports and act on it per job position.
How long can we keep rejected applicant data?
On the Odoo side you can notify the applicant with the refusal template and archive the record; it leaves the list without being deleted. We can configure archiving and bulk deletion by access rights. But the retention period for applicant data, explicit consent and disclosure obligations are a legal question; set the periods and the texts with your lawyer, and we will build the system around that decision.
Does the salary package configurator on the offer screen work in Türkiye?
Generating the offer, sending the candidate a link, the expiry date and the two-sided digital signature flow all work as standard. The "configure your package" screen in the offer email depends on the company's localization settings. We test how that screen behaves with the Türkiye localization in your own database at the start of the project and share the result with you.
