accountAccounting
Full accounting, from the journal entry to the financial statements

Keeps invoices, vendor bills, bank transactions and payments in a double-entry structure, and produces the financial statements from the same data.
What it does
Odoo Accounting brings customer invoices, vendor bills, bank transactions and payments together in a single journal structure. Every transaction produces a double entry; the entry is created the moment the invoice is confirmed. When the bank statement arrives, matches with open invoices are suggested, and rules can be defined for recurring transactions. The Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Trial Balance and aged reports are produced from the same entries without any separate work.
Bank reconciliation
When the statement arrives, Odoo suggests the invoice or payment to match, based on the amount, the partner and the description. For recurring transactions you define a reconciliation model. It writes the small remaining difference to the account you specify, and leaves a partial match open.
Vendor bill digitization
A PDF bill is sent to an email address or dragged onto the purchase journal; Odoo reads the partner, bill number, date, due date, currency and line details and opens a draft bill. This service runs on credits: one document uses one credit. XML invoices contain structured data, so they use no credits.
Financial reports
The Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flow Statement, Trial Balance, General Ledger, Partner Ledger and Aged Receivable/Payable reports come as standard. The reports are linked live to the entries; you can go from a line down to the source entry and correct it on the same screen.
Türkiye localization
The Türkiye localization comes with the setup: the uniform chart of accounts, the taxes, the fiscal positions and the Türkiye-specific reports are ready. e-Fatura, e-Arşiv and e-İrsaliye are sent from Odoo; the e-İrsaliye is prepared on the delivery order of the shipment. The e-Defter (electronic ledger) file is produced in Odoo.
We don't just install the module — we fit it to your business
ASON configures the chart of accounts according to the Uniform Chart of Accounts; it delivers a setup compliant with Turkish regulations — including e-Invoice/e-Archive (Türkiye's mandatory electronic invoicing) integration, VAT, and withholding tax configurations — and migrates your opening balances.

Frequently asked questions
Can we move to Odoo in the middle of the year?
You can. We fix the cut-over date and post the trial balance as at that date into Odoo as the opening entry. Open customer invoices and vendor bills are transferred one by one, so that the aged report works correctly. When the transfer is finished, Odoo's trial balance is compared with the old system's, and we do not go live before the differences are closed. If you want a single-period report at year end, a combined report is taken from the two systems for the first year.
Do bank transactions come in automatically?
Odoo can connect to banks through third-party providers and pull transactions in automatically. The documentation states that this service requires a valid Odoo Enterprise subscription. Accounts are synchronized every 12 hours by default, and some providers allow one refresh per day.
What do we do if our bank is not supported?
We check before the setup whether your bank is supported. If it is not, you upload the statement file into Odoo; the reconciliation runs on the same screen, in the same way. So even without the automatic connection, your bank reconciliation flow keeps working.
Do we match statement lines against invoices by hand?
For each statement line, Odoo looks at the amount, the partner and the description and suggests the invoice or payment to match; you confirm it. For recurring transactions you define a reconciliation model, and those transactions are suggested on their own next time. It writes the small remaining difference to the account you specify and leaves a partial match open.
Will we have to enter vendor bills one by one?
You do not have to. You send the PDF bill to an email address or drag it onto the purchase journal; Odoo reads the partner, bill number, date, due date, currency and lines and opens a draft bill. This digitization service runs on credits: one document uses one credit. XML invoices carry structured data, so they use no credits.
We have several companies. Can they all sit in one Odoo?
Odoo Accounting supports a multi-company structure, branches and consolidated reporting. It works with multiple currencies and produces the exchange difference entry automatically. During the setup we define separately which chart of accounts and journals each company uses; you take the reports both per company and consolidated.
How do we give the accounting entries to our certified public accountant?
You export the Trial Balance, General Ledger, journal and Partner Ledger reports from the screen as files. The e-Defter (electronic ledger) file is produced in Odoo as well; we test that flow together during the setup. If your accountant prefers, we open a read-only user for them and they pull the reports themselves. Asking them at the start which file format they want speeds the job up.
